A man has faced court accused of possessing a cache of weapons
including sawn-off air rifles as well as drugs at a Hallam
factory. Aman Preet Nota was arrested during a three-hour raid
by the police’s anti-bikie and crime gang Echo Taskforce of the
Wedgewood Road premises’ residential area on 28 August.
Lowered car careers off chicane
An 18-year-old driver has modified his Commodore’s
suspension into an unsafe state and then crashed while
speeding through a chicane in a Berwick estate,

Sabbir Alam’s behaviour was described by Dandenong magistrate
Jack Vandersteen during a sentencing hearing last Monday as
“persistent, hurtful and highly vindictive”.
Trio sentenced over Vic home invasion
Three men have been jailed after breaking into another man’s flat in Melbourne and bashing him over an alleged theft.
Panom Myaker, 22, Tommy Vilar, 22, and Ezekial Orani, 22, have been jailed over the February 2019 attack.

A Cranbourne dad has argued in court that his back-shed cannabis crop was grown to stop his son using ice.
Anthony George Buckingham’s 43 plants with UV head lamps, fans and watering systems were seized during a raid of his home by police on 2 July, the court heard.
Police also seized more than 750 grams of dried cannabis in the shed and house.
After his arrest, Buckingham told police he was willing to sell the drugs to customers.

A former building director has been jailed after pleading guilty to grooming a 14-year-old child for sex.
Andrio Torcasio, now 47, of Clyde, discussed sex, sent explicit pics of himself and persistently asked for graphic photos from ‘Lucy’ via online apps over three months in late 2020.
The Dandenong-based builder requested to meet with her at a Cranbourne McDonald’s outlet, his house or her home.

A 32-year-old man has been jailed after taking part in a violent, retaliatory home invasion against a Dandenong family.
Jake Hepponstall and two other males stormed the Hutton Street flat on 8 November 2020 over a dispute that escalated over an apartment resident’s annoying wafting of cigarette smoke.
The intruders repeatedly punched and kicked the man in the flat, with his head slammed into a wall, County Court sentencing judge Gavan Meredith said on 7 April.

A man has faced court accused of possessing a cache of weapons including sawn-off air rifles as well as drugs at a Hallam factory.
Aman Preet Nota was arrested during a three-hour raid by the police’s anti-bikie and crime gang Echo Taskforce of the Wedgewood Road premises’ residential area on 28 August.
Police told Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 19 July that two of the weapons were respectively found by detectives in a gym bag under a treadmill and on top of a garage barbecue.
